delusions of grandeur have been designing and making interior products since 1999. anna deacon and john taylor have been in partnership for the past 15 years. both have art training backgrounds - anna in fine art and john in graphic design.

delusions of grandeur was conceived when a bundle of rusty wire and a bunch of pretty birthday cake candles 'spoke to each other' and the first tiny chandelier was created.

the chandeliers were shown for the first time at top drawer, september 1999 where they won a new product award.

at the country living fair in spring 2000 delusions of grandeur were awarded 'best new product'. since then demand has been outstanding and press coverage amazing. at pulse 2005 delusions of grandeur won the coveted 'best stand' design.
